THESE GAMES were created by CATHOLIC DESIGN - to use any classroom book to make questions for this game....
In both of these games the colored sections are known as "pathways" with in the Child's version this game is made up of 5 pathways with 3 or 4 paths in each. In the Teen/Adult version there are 8 pathways with 3-5 paths in each.
In the child's version each pathway is names after a section of the Bible. Garden of Eden, Enter the Ark, Cross the Sea, In the Manger, At the Cross.
In the Teen/adult version each pathway is named after a gift from the Holy Spirit - Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety, Fear of the Lord, and the word Sacrament.
In both games players move around the board landing on Paths, in order to own them they must answer a question. These questions can be made up by teachers, or simply asked out of a classroom book. They also receive points for the correct answer.
When another player lands on an "owned" path - the players must answer a question, if they are correct then the owner is challenged and has to answer a question to keep their path. Until a player owns all the paths in the pathway. Then they are no longer challenged.
There are also Special Spaces "Graces" and "Blessings" in which a player receives extra points or other gifts.
In the child's version, when a player lands on "Limbo" they simply rest. In the Teen/Adult version when a player land on "Rest in His Arms" they simply rest. In the Teen/Adult Version there are also spaces "Go to Purgatory" and "Purgatory" in which a player loses a turn.
