This is a good project for one classroom (older) to give to another classroom as a gift at Christmas time, or even better a
project for the Confirmation Class to give to Lectionary children.
ITEMS needed:
11 printed pages ( includes cover)
stick glue
Paper bag
Hole punch
Ribbon
small elastics
Leaving the paper bags (lunch bags) folded punch about 4 holes across (see diagram 1)
The ribbon will be used to string through the holes and hold the bag closed.
PRINT OUT EACH OF THE 12 PAGES ATTACHED.
PAGE 1 - cut out the bag and place it on the front of the bag. - with the stick glue
SCROLL 2-9 - roll into a scroll and attach a rubber band to each -- then put the scrolls in the bag
Close the bag and tie the folded POEM with one punch in the corner to the ribbon. The first page of the poem is a letter to the parents to read the poem as each of the children open the scrolls - they are numbered 1-8
the last 2 (scroll 10-11) scrolls are just fun pages for the children.
