And there were 6 persons who told of Jesus inocense
1. Pilate, Luke 23:14. 14and said to them, "You brought this man to me as one who (A)incites the people to rebellion, and behold, having examined Him before you, I (B)have found no guilt in this man regarding the charges which you make against Him.
2. Herod, Luke 23:15. 15"No, nor has (A)Herod, for he sent Him back to us; and behold, nothing deserving death has been done by Him.
3. Judas, Matthew 27:3. 3Then when (A)Judas, who had betrayed Him, saw that He had been condemned, he felt remorse and returned (B)the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
4. Pilate's wife, Matthew 27:19. 19(A)While he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent him a message, saying, "Have nothing to do with that (B)righteous Man; for last night I suffered greatly (C)in a dream because of Him."
5. The dying thief, Luke 23:41. 41"And we indeed are suffering justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong."
6. The centurion, Luke 23:47. 47(A)Now when the centurion saw what had happened, he began (B)praising God, saying, "Certainly this man was innocent." |
